Scenar Therapy in the Treatment of Dermatological Patients by D.Olisov.

Psoriasis.

Male, 50 years old. He was an invalid of the 2nd group. After 5 sessions a rash on the scalp had diminished and cracks on the flexion areas of the skin started to heal. Due to not following the diet and the recommended regime, the treatment was stopped.

Male, 64 years old. Macro-patches spread plaque psoriasis, arthropathy of the left talocrural joint. During the process of the treatment, the patches became thinner and lighter, the pain in the joints had diminished and the swelling had disappeared. 5 sessions were conducted.

Female, 67 years old. Macro-patches plaque psoriasis in spread form. 5 sessions were conducted. The foci of the lesion grew pale, became thinner and softer, the central part started to heal. The general condition had improved.

Atopic dermatitis.

Female, 9 years old. Her parents asked for the treatment after discharging the girl from hospital, as the conducted therapy did not give any result. The skin on the face, body and limbs were infiltrated, with multiple scratches and cracks at the elbow and under the knee flexion.

After 8 sessions the scratches had disappeared, the skin became lighter and softer. All risky food products were excluded from her diet and general condition had improved.

Female, 12 years old. The skin of the face, upper limbs and the body was hyperaemic, infiltrated and extremely dry. After 5 sessions the condition had improved. Itchiness was considerably diminished. In two months, however, aggravation had occurred due to "abundance overeating".

Female, 25 years old. She had extreme dryness and hyperaemia of the whole skin. At the elbow and the knee flexion's, there were cracks and crusts. The skin on the face and neck was infiltrated. After 10 sessions there was considerable improvement and the process started regressing. The skin colour returned to normal, the infiltration had considerably diminished and the cracks had healed.

Spread idiopathic adult eczema.

Male, 49 years old. Asked for the treatment after a course of hormonal therapy at the dermatological department had no effect. Prednisolon was cancelled before the treatment. After 5 sessions the condition had improved, with the focus becoming dryer after the first session. In three months, three additional sessions were conducted.

Herpes Zoster.

Male, 52 years old. On the left side of the forehead- a vesicle rash on a hyperaemic, infiltrated background. A painful sensation was noted. After three daily sessions, the vesicles had disappeared, the focus became less prominent and pain sensations had diminished. Due to departure the treatment had to be stopped.

A child, 12 years old.

On the back, at the right hand side, there was an infiltration, hyperaemia and vesicles. Along the rib arch and at the side of the stomach, the vesicle elements were confluent into small patches. Subjectively - extremely painful sensations. After 2 sessions, the main focus became dry, infiltration had reduced, however, pain sensations were still there. After 5 sessions the condition was good, the foci became completely dry and there was no pain sensation.

Taking into account the character and the degree of skin lesion, the patients with psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and eczema were given two sessions a week. On average, the duration of the course of treatment was 15 days. The patients with herpes zoster were given the treatment daily.

SCENAR therapy was used in combination with drug therapy in the treatment of dispensary patients. Applying SCENAR promotes quicker healing of the skin and softening of accompanying illnesses.
