The Place of Scenar Therapy as a Technology in Modern Medicine by Dr. A. Revenko
What is Scenar Therapy?
SCENAR THERAPY IS A MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY - It combines modes and methods to achieve
a united end result (product) in the interaction between the human organism
(the patient) and the device which creates a system : i.e. organism-device.
This interaction is directed to activating the resources of the human organism
which is capable of adaptating and forming the system at various functional
and organic manifestations of diseases.
SCENAR is an abbreviation of the mode of action on the human organism. The
name of the device is Self-Controlled Energo-Neuro-Adaptive Regulation, (self-controlling
energo-neuro-adaptive regulator).
What effectively does SCENAR treat?
SCENAR is a GP and emergency service in your pocket. Scenar practitioners and
medical doctors are able to give qualified and specialized help to patients
in practically any situation: to bring out of shock, to restore cardiac activity,
to reduce swelling, intoxication, to achieve quick anaesthesia, etc.
SCENAR application is indicated at any state in the treatment of the following
diseases:
Nervous system: various diseases of the vertebral column with secondary disorders
of the nervous activity, static and dynamic disorders of the vertebral column,
deformation of the spinal column, radiculitis, neuritis, strokes and their consequences,
diseases of the vegetative nervous system, etc.;
Musculo-skeletal system: myositis, arthritis, arthrosis, bruising of the soft
tissue, on fractures at different stages of the process;
Genito-urinary system: pyeloneophritis, cystitis, disturbance of the cycle,
adnexitis, infertility, toxicosis in pregnancy;
Tooth and mouth cavity diseases: periodontosis, periodontitis, arrest of inflammation
and complications after treatment of pulpitis and periodontitis, arrest of pain
syndrome;
Other pathological conditions and their combinations.
Effects of SCENAR Action
- Considerable improvement in the general state, with an increase in the adaptive
ability of the organism;
- Return to normal of disturbed functions;
- Speeding up and slowing down manifestations of pathological processes;
- Pain-killing;
- Anti-inflammatory;
- Anti-allergic;
- Anti-swelling;
- Normalization of vascular and blood functions;
- Endocrine-immunity response of the organism;
- Normalization of the metabolic processes;
These effects are able to be traced and confirmed by additional methods of
investigation :
(ECG, REG, EEG, X-ray, CT, U-Sound, irido-diagnostic, bio-chemical investigations,
electro-information investigation, computer acpuncture diagnostics - Nakatani,
Voll, auricle-diagnostic).
Who are the Users of the SCENAR Device?
Today, the users of the SCENAR in Russia are medical doctors and medical personnel
from more than 30 specialities, including neurology, therapeutics, surgery of
different specializations, traumatology, gynaecology, obstetrics, oto-rhino-laryngology,
odontology, sports medicine, physiotherapy, resuscitation and others. A special
version of the device was designed to be used by housewives, engineers, office
clerks and other specialists without a medical background, as well as on ferries,
liners, aeroplanes, in cars, etc.
Historical Reference
SCENAR therapy as a technology was born in Taganrog nearly 20 years ago. Originally,
the device was intended to be used in the "Space Research Programme"
but the project was stopped at "Perestroika" time. The users, medical
doctors and engineers of TOO OKB "Rhythm" and TOO "Bio-correction"
were jointly responsible for this change in direction.
In 1986, the first SCENAR device, having passed technical and clinical trials,
was authorized by the USSR Medical Council for use in clinic/polyclinic insitutions
and in the home.
To assess the therapy conducted as well as the findings of the optimal skin
zones and individualization of the action regimes, for expertise and prognosis,
the following may be used: the reflexogenic-diagnostic set "Rista-EPD"
(acupuncture diagnostics Nakatani, Folly, auricle diagnostic), computerized
polygraphy (EGC, EEG and others)
Currently, TOO OKB "Rhythm" the following series of the device are
produced under licence 30/03/2007 issued 27 December 1996, (Supplements No.1,
No.2, TU9444-010-05010925-97, TU9444-010-24225399-93): "SCENAR-035",
"SCENAR 97", "SCENAR 97.4", with certificates of standard.
The device is protected by patent in Russia, USA and Japan for "the means
for influence, for receiving biologically-active impulses and for the device
which realizes them". (The patent owner is TOO OKB "Rhythm").
The SCENAR device is capable of recognizing and preventing many health problems,
and restoring health.
"SCENAR" is a trademark (under classification for therapeutic devices
and apparatus and electro-stimulators), registered in the State List of Trademarks
in the USSR on 23 October 1989.
TOO "Bio-correction" and TOO OKB "Rhythm" closely cooperate
with different medical institutions:
- Department of "Non-Drug Methods of Treatment and Clinical Physiology"
in the I.M. Sechenev MMA : cor. Member of AMS is Dr. V.G. Zilov (Doctor of Medical
Science);
- Laboratory for "Bioenergy and Reflexotherapy" CITO : Dr. U.F. Kamenev,
(Doctor of Medical Science);
- Laboratory for "Biophysics of Cancer" in the Rostov Oncologic Institution
: Dr. L.H. Garkavi and Dr. E.B.Kvakina, (Doctors of Medical Science); and
- Other departments of Institutes in Moscow, St Petersburg, Ekaterinburg and
Odessa;
- Committee of New Medical Technology Medica, Factory of the Russian Federation:
Chairman - Prof. T.I. Nosikova (Doctor of Medical Science).
The Committee for New Medical Technology and the Department for "Non-Drug
Methods of Treatment" have together issued 4 compilations of "SCENAR
Therapy, SCENAR Expertise", reflecting questions of therapy and practise.
The editors are: T.I. Nosikova, G.V.Zilov, L.M.Kudaeva.
From 1992, 117 training seminars have been conducted in the different regions
of Russia and abroad. Over the years, more than 2000 users have been trained,
including managers of medical institutions (heads of hospitals and polyclinics,
chiefs of departments, etc.), medical doctors, nurses (including resuscitation
doctors, surgeons, oncologists, neurologists, physiotherapists, paediatricians)
and scientists (candidates or doctors of science().
